Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta



This Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta recipe offers a slightly milder twist on the famous appetizer. Succulent shrimp are coated in a creamy, sweet, and spicy sauce, then tossed with linguine for a satisfying meal that's bursting with flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro optional
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions:

Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente

Drain and set aside

In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, honey, Sriracha sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and pepper

Set aside

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat

Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side

Lower the heat and pour the prepared sauce over the shrimp

Stir well to coat the shrimp evenly and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce is heated through

Add the cooked linguine to the skillet with the shrimp and sauce

Toss everything together until well combined and heated through

Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and chopped cilantro, if desired

Serve hot with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the pasta
