Red White and Blueberry Trifle



A delightful and patriotic trifle featuring layers of moist pound cake, vanilla pudding, fresh strawberries, and blueberries, all topped with fluffy whipped cream.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound cake, cubed
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 pint fresh blueberries
  • 2 cups vanilla pudding
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

In a bowl, combine the sliced strawberries and blueberries with sugar

Let them macerate for about 15 minutes

In another bowl, mix the whipped cream and vanilla extract to make the whipped cream

Layer the bottom of a trifle dish with half of the cubed pound cake

Spread a layer of vanilla pudding over the cake

Add a layer of the macerated berries

Add a layer of whipped cream

Repeat the layers: pound cake, pudding, berries, and whipped cream

Finish with a garnish of fresh berries on top

Refrigerate the trifle for at least 2 hours before serving
