Ingredients:
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chunks or chopped chocolate
- 1/2 cup brownie chunks pre-baked and cooled
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy
Beat in the egg until well combined
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined
Fold in the chocolate chips, chocolate chunks, and brownie chunks to create a cookie dough with a variety of textures
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls
Place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each
Gently flatten each cookie dough ball with your palm or the back of a spoon
Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still slightly soft
Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely
Once cooled, the cookies are ready to be enjoyed! The combination of chocolate chip cookie dough and brownie chunks creates a deliciously indulgent treat
