Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 slices bacon
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 190C 375F
Put the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg that has been beaten, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl
Mix the ingredients together until they are well mixed
Cover a piece of aluminum foil and spread the beef mixture out in a rectangle shape
Make it about 1/2 inch thick
Spread out the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the beef mixture
Carefully roll the beef mixture into a tight log, starting at one end
The aluminum foil can help you do this
Make sure the beef log is completely covered by the bacon slices
Put the beef roll wrapped in bacon on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper
Grill sauce should be spread on top of the roll
For 30 to 35 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the beef roll reaches 160F 71C inside, bake in an oven that has already been heated
Before you serve it, take it out of the oven and let it cool down for a while
Cut the beef roll into thick slices, sprinkle chopped parsley on top, and serve
